Applicants may apply through our Standard Application or one of our alternative admissions pathways, depending on their qualifications, experience, or the programme they are applying for.
Some programmes may require additional admissions requirements, such as an interview, portfolio, admissions assessment, or other pre-enrolment checks. Where applicable, these requirements will be clearly outlined on the relevant programme page.
How to Apply
Applying to Daskáre is straightforward. Choose your preferred programme and intake, complete the online application form, and upload the required supporting documents. Once your application has been submitted, our Admissions Team will review it and contact you with the next steps.

Standard Entry Requirements
To be considered for admission to Daskáre, applicants are normally required to submit the following:
Proof of Educational Qualifications
Applicants must provide evidence of the academic qualifications required for entry to their chosen programme. Applicants who do not yet meet the academic entry requirements may be eligible to enter through a Daskáre Foundation Programme, where available.
Language Proficiency
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction for their chosen programme. Language requirements vary by programme and are outlined in the Language Proficiency section.
Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Applicants are required to submit an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) outlining their educational background, professional experience, extracurricular activities, and other relevant achievements.
Admissions Application
Applicants must complete and submit the official Daskáre Admissions Application, ensuring that all required information and supporting documentation are provided.
Additional Programme Requirements
Certain programmes may require additional admissions materials, such as a personal statement, portfolio, interview, admissions assessment, references, or evidence of professional experience. Any additional requirements will be clearly listed on the relevant programme page.
Alternative Application Route: Experienced Learners (45+)
Daskáre is committed to lifelong learning and recognises the value of professional, personal, and life experience. Applicants aged 45 years or over may be eligible to apply through the Experienced Learners Application Route.
This pathway is designed for individuals who may not meet the standard academic entry requirements but can demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and motivation necessary to succeed in higher education.
Applicants applying through this route may benefit from:
Individualised admissions assessment.
Recognition of relevant professional and life experience.
Greater flexibility in meeting academic entry requirements, where appropriate.
Personal admissions guidance throughout the application process.
Recommendations for preparatory or foundation study where required.
Applicants may be asked to submit a Curriculum Vitae, a personal statement outlining their motivation for study, and participate in an admissions interview. Additional evidence of professional experience or prior learning may also be requested.
Admission through the Experienced Learners Application Route is considered on an individual basis and is subject to the applicant demonstrating their ability to succeed in their chosen programme.
Self-Designed Programme Pathway
The Self-Designed Programme Pathway enables applicants to propose an individual programme of study tailored to their academic, professional, or personal goals.
Applicants may submit a proposal outlining their intended area of study, learning objectives, and desired outcomes. Where appropriate, Daskáre will evaluate the proposal and determine whether the programme can be delivered using existing Daskáre courses and academic resources.
Successful applicants will work with the Academic Team to develop a personalised programme of study from the available Daskáre course catalogue. The proposed curriculum must meet the academic standards, learning outcomes, and credit requirements established by Daskáre.
Admission to the Self-Designed Programme Pathway is subject to academic approval and the availability of suitable courses. Not all proposed programmes may be approved.
Reviewing Your Application
How We Review Your Application
We will make a decision on your application once we have received all required documentation and completed any additional admissions requirements. Depending on your chosen programme, this may include an interview, admissions assessment, portfolio review, written submission, or other programme-specific evaluations.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Once your application is complete, we aim to issue an admissions decision within five working days. In some cases, additional time may be required if your application is referred to the relevant Academic Admissions Committee for further consideration.
If your programme requires an interview or additional assessment, a final admissions decision may not be available immediately afterwards. For programmes with limited places or competitive admissions, decisions are normally made after all applicants have completed the required selection process to ensure fairness and consistency.
Daskáre carefully considers every application on its individual merits. As places on some programmes may be limited, meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission. Applicants who are unsuccessful may request admissions feedback and, where appropriate, receive guidance on alternative application routes or future applications.
Making You an Offer
You may receive a conditional or unconditional offer from us. A conditional offer means you need to meet certain requirements, usually based on exam results. We'll accept you on our course if you achieve the relevant qualifications.
An unconditional offer means you definitely have a place on your chosen course.
All offers are made on the basis that you will meet the current entry requirements for your course, and complete all qualifications listed on your application form before starting the course.
For some courses, entry requirements may include completing additional courses or taking additional exams.
Interviews, Auditions, and Portfolios
Interviews
Some Daskáre programmes require applicants to attend an admissions interview as part of the selection process. Where applicable, this requirement will be clearly indicated in the Entry Requirements section of the relevant programme page.
If you are invited to an interview, you will receive an email with instructions on how to schedule your interview through the Applicant Portal. Interviews may be conducted online or, where available, in person.
Applicants are expected to book and attend their interview within the specified timeframe. Failure to do so without prior notice may result in the withdrawal of the application or consideration for an alternative admissions pathway.
Portfolios and Creative Submissions
Certain programmes may require applicants to submit a portfolio, creative work, written assignment, research proposal, or other supporting materials as part of the admissions process. Any such requirements will be listed in the Entry Requirements section of the relevant programme page.
If additional materials are required, instructions regarding the content, format, submission method, and deadline will be provided through the Applicant Portal. Applicants who fail to submit the required materials within the specified timeframe, without prior approval, may have their application withdrawn or assessed based on the documentation already provided.
Portfolios and creative submissions are evaluated as part of the overall admissions process and are considered alongside the applicant's academic qualifications, experience, and other supporting documents.
